Are you truly saved? Most professing Christians think they are, but are they? There are over two billions of professing Christians in the world claimed they are saved, but the Bible said the following:

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:14-15)

Most of the professing Christians are not saved because they believed not in the Gospel of Christ, instead they believed in another Gospel, The Gospel of Works, the Gospel of Prosperity, the Gospel of Signs and Wonders, such are examples of another Gospel.

The Roman Catholic, the Eastern Orthodox. Calvinism, Arminianism, and almost all of the evangelical denominations are teaching the Gospel of Works. Although they preach that eternal life is a free gift from God, yet they preach that in order to be saved, one must do something such as:

Pray a prayer
Walk the Isle
Public Confession
Feel sorry
Say sorry to God
Beg God for forgiveness
Give a promise to God
Repenance from Sin
Obey God
Trust Christ

All of the above are good works. However, believe in doing good works in order to be saved is just contrary to the Gospel of Christ. All the religions of the world believe in doing some good works to earn eternal life. Here is what the Bible tell us on the contrary:

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Roman 4:5)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved (Act 16:30-31)

Believe in Christ means believe in the Gospel of Christ. Here is the definition of the Gospel of Christ:

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18)

Notice in the Bible that belive and trust are from two different greek words:  Believe is pisteuō and trust is elpizō. God promised us whosoever believe in Christ shall be saved, not whosoever trust in Christ shall be saved. Putting one's trust in Christ in order to be saved is not the Gospel of Christ. Putting trust in Christ require human effort, while believe in Christ is believe what Christ has done for us sinners almost two thousand years ago in Calvary, that he alone paid in full all of our sins of the past, present, and future.

The word repent is the greek word metanoia and the meaning of the word repent is changing one's mind. The Bible is telling people to change their mind and believe in the Gospel. However, many people change the meaning of the word repentance to mean turn away from sin. Buy doing such, they change Gospel of Christ into another Gospel based on good works.

Those who preach that you have to trust in Christ in order to be saved is preaching another Gospel. The Bible time and time again ask us to believe in Christ, not trusting in Christ in order to be saved.

The Gospel of Christ is the promise of eternal life, not a promise of a prosperous life, nor is the Gospel promise a miracle healing of medical illness or any other kind of carnal blessings pertaining to this life. Hence, the Prosperity Gospel, the Social Gospel, and the Signs and Wonder Gospel are other Gospels. Here is what Jesus said to them who were after carnal blessing rather than eternal life:

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:26-20)

Jesus also rebutted those who sought after signs and wonders:

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:38-40)

I hope you will believe in the Gospel of Christ and have eternal life rather than being deceived into believing in another Gospel.
